I actually learned it at a beach, playing volleyball. On a team the goal is to hit the ball over the net in a way the other team cannot hit it back. And there are three simple moves. There was a big way you’d run, dive, get the ball, keep the ball in play. Then there was a setting things up, popping the up just over the net. The scoring position. And then there’s a spot where somebody would leap up, spike it straight over the net. Hopefully score the points. I

If you think about running your business, you need 3 simple frameworks as an owner: Keep everything in play, set things up so others can do their job, jump up and down and celebrate the wins.

You need a framework for getting prospects warmed up to the point where they sign up and buy from you and give you money.

You need a team and systems that get everything done.

You need a way to watch and track and measure and report so you know when to give everyone high 5s and celebrate them getting it done successfully.

If you are trying to serve, and run, and dive, set and spike… well, perhaps that’s that what you’ve been doing. To the point of exhaustion and a company that is now stalling.
